Every day we hear about the damage we are inflicting on our planet. At St John's we will be making the link between our concerns about the environment and our Christian faith in a programme of activities called Earth be Glad.
Earth be Glad is part of two wider movements within the church in Scotland and Europe. We are taking part in the Eco-Congregation programme, along with over 85 Scottish churches, and with churches around Europe we are celebrating the season of Creationtide. (More about Eco-Congregation and Creationtide...)
On these pages you can find out about the important and about . You can a Christian Environmental organisation, and find to help you take action as an individual or church group. And you can start making a difference right now with these .
The programme of activity is shaped by the whole congregation. If you want to get involved, have questions, or speak to Eleanor Todd.
