Peace and Justice

St John's has a long history of involvement in issues of peace and justice. The murals on Princes Street, the organisations on our terrace, the many charities and campaigns in which we have been involved, all bear witness to the God of justice whom we proclaim in our worship.

In 2005 we were at the hub of the Make Poverty History march around central Edinburgh, when hundreds of thousands of people created a white band around the church at the time of the G8 summit.
